Ne-osh-shiwg
(Cape Smith)
Difficulty Level: Easy
Time: 2 Hours

Our Aboriginal guides will share our history and culture with you at various stops on this two hour tour.
This trail is relatively flat with gentle curves to offer you the optimum comfort of travel. At
places the maple tree branches reach out and touch, giving you a tunnel of ecological
beauty to travel through.
The majestic view of the bay holds the beauty of why our land is unceded. Ne-osh-shiwg
(Cape Smith) has a rich history, a history which has been passed down through our elders
from generation to generation instilling in our spirits the urge for life long learning. We
would like to share this history with you.

On the Be-nong-ghong trail, we were lucky to see this beaver
in his temporary home. Beavers build small lodges when they are on the move.

Black Bear on the Ne-Osh-Shiwg trail. He was eating buttercups when he stopped to observe us, then he disappeared in the wilderness.(WE DO NOT GO NEAR BEARS)
